It’s exciting to see people win, but the elation is even greater when someone breaks a world record. Their names go in the history books next to their heroes and the people they have aspired to be like.

Application: Athletes are always compared to competitors from the past. Those who have reached great heights in their time are held up as examples of which the next generation of champions should be like.

He was, He is, and He will ever be the greatest deity. None can compare to Him. What an honour it is to know the best so personally and to have Him back us 100% every day.
Prayer: Lord, nothing can compare to Your greatness. May we never forget that You are the best and it is a privilege to be in Your presence. Amen.
